What the Death Parade preview confirms
The August 28 official development post previews Death Parade while explicitly saying it is taking longer than expected. It confirms a Relic-based hand-size cap and discard-focused build options, but it does not announce a release date or say the update is live. Guide pages should treat every Death Parade detail as upcoming until a release post and playable build are available.
- Sir Ambrojoe is previewed with Switch, Scavenger, discard triggers, and the La Robba weapon.
- Big Troubler is previewed as a 500-discard unlock with Unearthly Bolt, Spirit Disturbance, Coin Purses, and gold/discard interactions.
- New Gems are planned to add Death Parade effects to existing cards, but exact Gem data was not published.
- Four Arcanas are named: Infinite Combo, Chair Game, Crawler Brawler, and Ebb & Combo; their effects were deliberately withheld.
- No exact balance numbers, recipe tables, release date, or live patch version should be inferred from this preview.
What changed in Version 1.5
The latest official Vampire Crawlers update is now a real gameplay-facing QOL patch rather than only a monitoring signal. It makes quitting easier, adds card sorting by mana or color, provides a unified deck view, clarifies Jeweller chest and gem behavior, expands tooltip settings, and adds Endless Mode for players who have completed the game. These are usability and post-game routing updates, not proof that best crawler tiers or exact evolution recipes changed.
- Settings and quit options are now always available from the bottom-left corner.
- Cards can be sorted by mana cost or color, and up/down movement jumps between sorted categories.
- The new deck view shows cards across deck pile, hand, and discard pile from multiple screens.
- Jeweller UI now exposes which chests can contain a gem and includes rarity behavior changes.
- Endless Mode is unlocked through a new post-game relic area and is available in dungeons already cleared.
- The official roadmap says future 2026 updates are planned around post-game Challenge Stages, starting with limited hand size and discarding in the next update.
- Steam Community Items are live in the Steam ecosystem, but they are cosmetic/community inventory coverage rather than gameplay balance evidence.
- Roadmap names and counts can be cited as upcoming context; previewed Death Parade mechanics and unreleased Bone Deep and Curdled Tunnels content remain not yet guide-tested.
What stays unchanged for strategy pages
Version 1.5 changes how players inspect and manage runs, but the official notes still do not publish exact card recipe tables, crawler tier changes, or boss balance rewrites. The guide should update QOL wording, Endless Mode routing, Jeweller caveats, and source badges while keeping build rankings tied to direct play verification.
- Do not rewrite tier advice from QOL notes alone.
- Keep recipe rows unpublished or clearly caveated until verified in-game or by official notes.
- Treat Endless Mode as post-game route pressure, not a replacement for first-clear advice.
Priority pages to refresh next
The highest-impact content updates are pages players consult mid-run: Latest, Patches, Turboturn, Gem Economy, Weapon Evolutions, Routes, and Tools. Version 1.5 also gives the site new search intent around Endless Mode, deck view, card sorting, Jeweller clarity, and challenge-stage roadmap planning.
- Patch timeline for Version 1.5 and Hotfix 1.4.1 as separate update types.
- Gem and Jeweller guidance with last-checked caveats for exact rarity behavior.
- Tools and route pages that distinguish first clears from post-game Endless Mode.
